Water DOES Lead to Mold Growth

SERVPRO was called in to extract water from the basement of a home that was no longer occupied. What the technicians found was water which had been left standing for several months (unknown to the homeowner.) What was also found was several different kinds of mold growing on every surface in the basement - walls, ceilings, floor, etc.  Air samples from taken from the rest of the house tested positive for airborne mold all the way into the attic.
