Frozen Pipe Leaves a Wet Mess

The winter of 2018 was a harsh one, with long spells of extreme cold and lots of snow. The intense cold led to frozen pipes in homes all over Bergen County and the state. The resulting broken pipes left SERVPRO of Hackensack/Little Ferry working overtime to help all those customers who needed water restoration. Oftentimes, the sheet rock, carpeting, walls, etc. need to be removed and contents and the remaining materials (walls, ceilings, floors) need to be dried. In this particular house SERVPRO was able to save the carpeting, by using multiple air movers for a period of several days.
